We've stood in the wreckage. So we built this.
PixFixer AI is built by a senior ex-Google engineer, AI and software engineers, a former FEMA disaster-recovery official, and field and desk insurance adjusters. We've lived through a disaster ourselves, and we built this with the people going through one in mind: not just a clever AI tool, but something that truly helps families get their homes repaired.
Why now
Disasters got more frequent. Claims didn't get faster.
In 2024 the United States had 27 separate billion-dollar weather disasters (hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, floods) totalling $182.7 billion in damage. The five-year average is now 23 a year; in the 1980s it was fewer than four.
Claims handling hasn't kept up. One adjuster still drives to one house, climbs one roof and writes one estimate. After a big storm that's tens of thousands of houses, and families wait. Slow claim payment is the number one consumer complaint in insurance, according to the NAIC.
